It’s designed to prevent Israeli troops from falling into enemy hands through the maximum use of force. Witnesses confirm tanks took out their own civilians. Captured civilians said "the idf helicopter shot at us on the way to Gaza." When he didn’t even know where Palestine was on a map and said Egypt borders Russia. Why he is in this debate is completely beyond me. He’s a bigot and wants to justify the atrocities. He thinks genocide is the solution in his own words. Insane

Dr Finkelstein is a professor and historian with a B.A from Binghamton University and a phd in political science from Princeton university. Mouin Rabbani received his B.A. in History and International Relations from Tufts University and his M.A. in Contemporary Arab Studies from Georgetown University. This debate is like me going to my doctor with symptoms and saying I know better because I pulled up web md on my phone. Some humility would go a long way especially with respect to learning from smarter people . “ I want to be very very… clear here, I am Islamophobic and I hate Islam ” Destiny~ Being an atheist doesn’t mean you have to be prejudice and I don’t find prejudice funny. I don’t necessarily subscribe to any religion but I’m not prejudice against any either. That statement is equivalent to me saying I’m antisemitic now listen to my opinion about Israel. So we’ve established his biases and education or lack there of. Destiny fans I’ve noticed think a W in an argument means talking over people and making them annoyed while staying composed. But facts don’t care about feelings like I’ve heard or your emotional state for that matter. I do agree that Dr. Finkelstein is annoyed like I’ve never seen before but that doesn’t mean anything he says is false. Neither does saying his name incorrectly a dozen times. Nothing Norm said was false . Every response Mouin R made was infinitely better than anything destiny brought forward as some defense for the atrocity being committed. If destiny had a valid point Rabbani would acknowledge it. “Can you name any country that would give 55% of their country away” might be my favorite comment 😂 . I mean I don’t think you were paying attention, he’s constantly arguing against his statements . The human shield defense, the borders argument ,the 1948 arguments, the modern day attacks, the displacement argument. Everything… Can you name one argument which destiny was not countered and dismantled ? (preferably with a time stamp). Personally I really don’t understand why destiny is here, his debate tactics are just being aggressive and getting under peoples skin.

Destiny imo of course comes across like a know it all tablet kid who just resorts to speaking over , quickly and ignoring or not really addressing arguments. This is why Destiny fans are not mentioning Mouin R when they imply destiny “won” because winning for them means the other guy lost composure and you made him look angry is never about the actual points being made.
