@NCAAhockeyplayer you have what happened confused . Ahmaud was trapped in the video between the black Chevy that just hit him and ran him off the road moments earlier and the white Ford with a man pointing a shotgun at him. He was being chased for 5 mins prior to the video of his shooting. He ran away from them for 5 mins and they chased him and finally "pinned him in" ( that's their words) between the two trucks. So because he was trapped he fought back . The McMichaels said we are going to blow your head off as they were chasing him. Would you be afraid? To do a citizen arrest you must literally witness a crime and immediately take action. You can NOT see the person weeks or days later and stop them. They also admit they wanted to stop him to have the police investigate their suspicion. You have to literally see a crime and then act. They never witness any crime , they literally relentlessly Chase him and when he refused to stop they pulled a gun on him. He had ever single right to fight back and they had no right to shoot or do anything they did ANYTHING. Personally imo it would be a travesty if they aren't found guilty

But he rams him with the Chevy and runs him off the road. He is a major part in the crime because he escalated it. Pretty sure they are all gonna get the same charges

I watched a large portion of the trial and I'm quite certain they will be found guilty. The citizens arrest was illegal by definition

@Valicroix they all acted stupidly and it resulted in a man dying. I think they are all going down for the same thing

@Valicroix the law is that if you're involved in a crime and it results in someone dying everyone gets charged no matter how small a roll you've played. That's felony homicide if I'm not mistaken , you commit a felony that resulted in a homicide. Like the prosecutor says in court," everyone on the football team gets a super bowl ring even they guy on the bench" . The video we see is just the end of the conflict there was 5 minutes of him being chased and they all played a role. They even said we are going to blow your head off . Of course ahmaud had every right to fight back against that, two trucks one running you of the road. And one with confederate flag on the front pointing a shotgun at him.

@Valicroix personally I think they are all equally guilty. mainly because he drove into him with the Chevy and ran him off the road . Don't forget ahmaud was trapped or pinned between the Chevy and the Ford ( that's how they put it" pinned") once he was boxed in between a man with a shotgun aimed at him and a black Chevy that just hit him he fights back..... He was trapped so he fights back, goes for the shotgun after 5 mins of being chased because he was trapped

@NCAAhockeyplayer and Travis said he wanted to stop him to hold him for the police because of his suspicion. So yes Travis was attempting a citizen arrest illegally which is why the state wants felony homicide

@Valicroix the prosecutor proved the citizens arrest was illegal because 1. They didn't witness any crime 2. It happened weeks earlier that they suspected him off doing it. You can't citizen arrest ppl because of suspicion you must literally see a felony occur and act in that moment. You can't come see the person a week later and be like" stop for what you did last week" ,that's illegal also. They are screwed because he had the right to fight back , they didn't have the right to shoot once you commit the crime ( illegal citizens arrest). Justice is them all being found guilty imo

@NCAAhockeyplayer I would just watch the closing statements because the trial is long. You'll understand everything from the prosecutor closing statement
