@thelaughindustry773 Congress is a legislative branch of the government not a judicial. They don’t go by facts of the case they go by their best interests. If you can control half of Congress you could literally do an insurrection

@thelaughindustry773 is not arbitrary. It went through the court and the state supreme courts. It could have gone to federal court or even the Supreme Court could’ve heard the case. Instead they made this ridiculous ruling

@thelaughindustry773 it’s not the “ state “ it was the state Supreme Court and local judge. They could’ve easily had the case go to federal court. Or scotus could’ve actually ruled on the case. There’s no reason to have Congress decide it’s the most ridiculous decision

@thelaughindustry773 I’m more angry that they are having congress decide. It’s preposterous to have Congress decide if there was an insurrection. They are not going by facts , they go by their best interests. If states can bar local senators they could still control the congress anyway
