@billargueta5458 servers actually make more than mechanics and some nurses, even some police fyi. Typically make more than first responders, assistant nurses, mechanics and a lot of jobs that you need to be qualified for. Not everyone can be a server lol it's not easy as you'd assume dealing with people who are hungry. I could sit here for awhile and name underpaid jobs that make less than server's. The restaurant however doesn't pay a server a living wage and they TYPICALLY underpay the other staff that cooks dishwasher mangers etc. There's a reason he's (was) making profits in millions and it's literally because of the staff. It's hardly a practice that I pity when the owner feels the hurt and isn't making profits in his expected millions( that's why he lost millions because he expected them). He'll be fine at the end of day lol I'm sure he's still going home in his silk scarf to his giant house .It's one of the most difficult operations to run so try keeping the same attitude for the owner that you have for the peons ,unqualified needs to start somewhere else at lower pay. You don't seem to care for them but cry for him 🤨 and btw I'm anything but jealous lol. It's that the owners typically take advantage of employees by underpaying them. That's literally how restaurants generate maximum profits

@billargueta5458 I didn't say he had no problems clearly he does lol. I said he'll be alright compared to the dishwasher or server and he is still going home to his house. You can't even keep the same attitude for the peons as the owner lol. If you pay bananas you get monkeys. The fact people are stealing should be a clue to you but you're so biased you only think of the owner. Why does the employee need to steal? You would think it's because they are just a bad person lol. Why did they quit and give no warning or notice? Who else is there to blame? So why did you want me to cry and hold hands over this? If his business generates that much income for how long but one month of problems and it's over? @billargueta5458 also side note, you keep saying anyone can be a server. What if you're in a wheelchair for example? There's tons of ppl who can NOT do the job

@billargueta5458 the law prohibits discrimination against QUALIFIED applicants with disabilities. You're not qualified to work in a restaurant if you have a disability that stops you from standing or moving around quickly. Most employers would legally reject applicants in wheelchairs etc for restaurant work. A business owner can definitely be in a wheelchair. You keep saying anyone can serve but I've seen people unable to perform the job. And it doesn't have anything to do with the conversation anyways. MY only real point is I don't feel any pity for this guy who operates with millions of income weekly and can't downsize or manage during hard times that every single restaurant in USA and prob the world is dealing with RN. I can't even fathom how in 2 weeks he lost 2 million, I need details here but that won't happen
