Cartel money is less than 1% of our economy because we have oil, tourism, remittamces, agriculture and manifacturing. Stop making up excuses of your mediocrity. You are near japan, china,Indonesia, korea, singapur and even thailand, they share the same race, climate, culture and land but they are rich and succesful unlike you. You are lazy and dont like study like koreans or chinese. Spain improved our countries, if not we will continue with cannibalism.

Africa is a continent and the 95% of the countries there have low HDI and low GDP per capita and miserable conditions of living. The term "3rd world country" was applied in the cold times for referring for neutral countries that werent aligned with the axis of evil or the allies. The correct terms are developed countries such as US, Europe,Australia or NZ, developing countries such Latin America,China, Russia, The middle East and South east Asia. And finally we have the term "least developed countries" or the worst such 95% of Africa, India and Papua nueva guinea. If you live in Juarez you should ride the new BRT 2025 in the tecnologico avenue, drive to the Abraham airport to the central park, parque borunda and visit the paseo de triunfo de la republica, then travel to the 95% of the countries in Africa or india and tell us your experience in their transit systems. Their roads, parks, skycrapers, universities, etc @ShawnShawny-j6r

Yes, i agree in a 90%. But Juarez was a great city before nafta and the american sweatshops. After 1994 juarez was flooded by immigrants from south México and deported latinos from US and the problems started, you know, crime, homicides, kidnappings, trash, violence vs woman, gangs, cartels, etc. Also,in juarez and north México the majority of the people are white of spanish descent. México is 50% spanish, 40% mestizo or whitish and the rest indian and black.

@williammejia5951 I see whats the problem here. Another salvadoreño with inferiority complex. México is the 13th richest country above Spain,Canada and south korea. Cope.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)#:~:text=GDP%20(PPP)%20means%20gross%20domestic,or%20government%20official%20exchange%20rates.
And I am not a chicano, i am born and raised in Juarez, i am 100% bilingual. El salvador is mostly indo mestizo, the only white that lives there is the turkish dictator. I am from north México, the whitest and the wealthiest part in México, we dont have nothing alike with southern mexicans nor central americans. Mexican GDP per capita is $22.000 And salvadorean is barely $10.000. If México is a 3RD world nation, el salvador is the 10th world. No Mejía, el salvador will never be better, only in your wet dreams. The only good countries in latam are México, Costa Rica, Panamá, argentina, chile,Brasil and Uruguay.

@geraldarnoult yes, we like a 2nd world and a developing country that is rising day by day but sadly we cant compare us to great and beautiful cities like San Diego or el paso yet, we need to work more on our poverty, corruption, infraestructure and violence. I live in Juarez though. Sadly, Tijuana and Juarez are facing the cartel violence since 2006 due our corrupt government that is not doing anything about it, just benefit from the narco dollars profits. Juarez and Tijuana without violence could be paradises on earth because our way of life of cheaper like in California or texas, hoy know, affordable food, housing, gas, electricity, healthcate, etc.

@brandonb.5304 yes, I live here. Juarez is a economic, manufacturig, tourist, business and gastronomic power thanks to NAFTA ,share the border with Texas, having the american embassy and their international factories installed here. Thats why we are recieving immigrants from all around the world, specially south americans, spaniards, chinese, etc.

The El Paso Regional Economic Development Corporation indicated that Ciudad Juárez is the metropolis absorbing "more new industrial real estate space than any other North American city."[70] The Financial Times Group through its publication The Foreign Direct Investment Magazine ranked Ciudad Juárez as the "City of the Future" for 2007–2008.[71] The El Paso–Juárez area is a major manufacturing center. CommScope, Electrolux, Bosch, Foxconn, Flextronics, Lexmark, Delphi, Visteon, Johnson Controls, Toro, Lear, Boeing, Cardinal Health, Yazaki, Sumitomo, and Siemens are some of the foreign companies that have chosen Ciudad Juárez for business operations.[72][73]
The Mexican state of Chihuahua is frequently among the top five states in Mexico with the most foreign investment.[74] Many foreign retail, banking, and fast-food businesses have locations within Juárez.

@brandonb.5304 why not? Thanks to NAFTA we have the lowest unemployment in mexico with factories.

@brandonb.5304 all wrong. I am Industrial Engineer borned and raised in Juarez and I know more than you about this because I live here and I work in those american and chinese sweatshops. If you don't believe me just lets see statistics how Macroeconomics benefited the average mexican people with jobs, wealthness, healthcare, housing, cars, pensions, earnings, etc all created thanks to NAFTA and the foreign investments especially in Juarez.
1. US has not the highest GDP nominal in the world, that's false. Luxembourg has it, USA is the number 6th.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal)_per_capita
2. Mexico before NAFTA and foreign investments had a GDP per capita of $8000 and nowadays we have a GDP per capita of $15.000 which is considered a high income country by the world bank, even more higher than The Chinese and the Russian ones thanks to foreign investments!
https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Mexicos-per-capita-GDP-1960-2010-PPP-international-US-dollars-2005-100-Source_fig4_275418176
3. lets see the poverty in Mexico before NAFTA in 1994, we had almost 20% of extreme poverty and now less than 2% because NAFTA and investments helped the average mexican!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty_in_Mexico#/media/File:Poverty_in_Mexico.jpg
4. can't you see in this video, in a working class hood in Juarez near downtown they have all the basic services such as electricity, wi fi, water, gas, paved roads, nice cars, etc. Also, we do have free healthcare, universities such UNAM and pensions for elders 60+ and the housing is very cheap, that's why many americans are fleeing to mexico to live in a cheaper country. how many homeless people did you see in the charliesbo 30 videos about Juarez? Also, not all Juarez is like this. there are rich and middle class neighborhoods like any city in the world.

@frydemwingz its not cope. My city is the mexican detroit, juarez city once Las Vegas of mexicos since 1920 - 1994 before Nafta and globalism we were a beautiful, safe, clean and a thriving city. Now we are flooded by human trash from south México, deported chicanos and more human trash from central and south América.
https://youtu.be/wdZzH_qlSQI
Well i am not very optimistic, juarez is still not that great but we are still the 8th richest country with a lot of remodelations, new construtions of skycrapers, malls, freeways, BRT, parks to become great again.

@thesquad2253 no money? You even know me? I go to ruidoso, el paso and new mexico for fun and shopping every week. Then in juarez we have nice restaurants and american retail centers like costco, walmart, sams, dennys, piter piper pizza, sirloin stockade, burger king, i hop, fogo de chao, búfalo wild wings, applebees and the best nighlife, i never get bored here. Charlie only showed us the worst of juarez.
