If, as in Blasey Ford's case, there is no evidence and no witnesses to confirm the claim, we have no reason either to believe or disbelieve, so we cannot pass judgement, which means Kavanaugh should be confirmed.

  12.  @flipnotrab  it IS the real problem. Russia was negotiating for months before the invasion to get Zelensky to stop bombing Donbas and not to seek NATO membership. Russia said membership would be incompatible with the concept of Indivisible Security, whereas bombing Donbas was against the Minsk accords which Ukraine was bound by. Zelensky chose war when peace was offered, and in April he did it again.

  13.  @jimmydean123123  this is about a crime which is largely cause by the people who are being blamed for it. There is no reason to criticise people for pointing out that a particular group is causing this, especially when that group is politically powerful and the lax policing which enables the crime wave is directly a result of that power. Any other crimes or issues you might want to bring up to deflect from this are wholly irrelevant.

  14.  Don Vito  why end it when everyone practices it, and it's intrinsic to our nature? The problem is not that we can't get along, the problem is that we're forced to. The left says racism is systemic and a product of power, not someone saying rude words. The only systemic racism is targeted at whites, who have no power to end it, therefore all racism is only against whites. There are no systems of racism targeting other ethnic groups - they all benefit from racist government policies, they are all allowed to have political groups representing their ethnic interests, and all institutions are seeking to benefit them in terms of employment, "representation" etc. There are no non-white victims of racism.

There's a channel called Producer Michael in which a wealthy music producer visits high-end watch, clothes and jewellery stores in LA. In the last one I saw he was at his local watch dealer explaining that he doesn't wear expensive watches any more (he has a huge collection) because of the high crime rate. The look on the dealer's face said it all!

So why is there a panic about Russian forces getting their hands on anything the US was funding? They might find some research that is more advanced than their own, but that would not be a threat to the Ukrainian people. They might also find criminal activity that could send high-level US politicians to jail...

Each group wants their own statues, each group wants their own national heroes and national holidays, each group wants to be "represented" on TV by people from their group, each group wants political representation for their group, each group wants to be taught their own history, literature, art etc in their own schools. We could all have all those things, if we were not forced to live together. But above all, it is diaspora Europeans who are denied those things, because we build countries people want to live in, and we're not racist. We are punished for doing good and being "good". The result is that our own civilisation must be torn down and replaced because it is the best. This is unfair to us, and no benefit to the rest of the world either. Anti-racism is the sin, not racism.

  28. What they want is no mystery: general animosity towards white people. If they cared about black lives they would protest the daily violence in cities. If they cared about police brutality we would know the name of Tony Timpa, and we would know the statistics of how many of each race are killed. If they wanted an honest and open conversation they would not shout "racist" at anyone who points out the inconsistencies in their activism. They don't want a discussion, and they only care about deaths and brutality when the situation enables them to craft a narrative which casts white people as the villain.

  41. To be fair, it's different when you cross a border with a weapon. If Russia wants to invade Ukraine they should send the soldiers in with no weapons, then lobby to have their families join, then vote Russians into office, then get a pro-Russian version of history taught in schools, get the schools renamed for Russian heroes, tear down statues of Ukrainians, and eventually vote to expel the native population and annex the country to Russia. That is the Democratic way.
