  1. It had nothing to do with the sextortion case. The judge was helping the sheriff's wife and daughter leave him due to DV. This is why the sheriff claimed that they were kidnapping his family after he shot the judge.

  2.  @MrSuperchargeron  I think the whole story will come out at trial. Perhaps the sextortion case was the reason she wanted to leave. Time will tell.
