A mistake is not a crime. If the family wants reparation, there are civil courts for that.

@brendataylor9276 The problem being that the prosecution will not be able to prove this in court.

He was a felon and didn't want to go to jail. No need to overcharge her. It was a mistake. If the family wants reparations then the civil courts are open.

@timk33 Please explain why she can't be charged with manslaughter as it was clearly a mistake that led to a death.

@yournamehere1935 Even Chauvin's trial was politicized and Chauvin was unfairly convicted. If anything there should have been grounds for a mistrial given one of the jurors had a bias towards BLM and the comments of Maxine Waters threatening violence if they didn't get the verdicts they wanted.

@bdubs532 You don't die from a neck restraint. They made a mountain out of a molehill with the Chauvin case. Both sides accepted the juror based on the assumption that he was impartial, which he was not. A mistrial can be declared when there's ample evidence that the defendant did not receive a fair trial.

@bdubs532 They have recreated the same scenario many times and the person does not die not is their breathing impeded.
1
@bdubs532 No they found a person similar to George Floyd who probable didn't do drugs or had a diseased heart. Did you watch the video I sent you? The fact that the person survived, shows that Floyd died from a drug overdose compounded by a diseased heart.
1
@bdubs532 What we can say based on the numerous tests that were carried out is that Floyd died due to a drug overdose compounded by a diseased heart.

@bdubs532 Floyd admitted on body camera that he ate too many drugs. He then says he's done. Basically he admitted that he had killed himself.
1
@bdubs532 The defence argued he took drugs and there were lethal amounts of Fentanyl in his system. They even played the video where Floyd admitted that he ate too many drugs. The scenario you refer to is nothing like what transpired on the day he died. He was resisting arrest and fighting with officers. They held him down for his own safety but he ingested too many drugs. If the knee was placed so hard on his neck, how was Floyd able to lift up his head? The Fentanyl was taking effect and he died as a result. No need to crucify four officers for the foolish mistake of a criminal.
1
@bdubs532 Floyd already admitted on video that he ate too many drugs. He was responsible for his own death.
1
@bdubs532 Floyd died by his own hands. Don't make a martyr out of a common criminal.
1
@bdubs532 He died by his own hands. There was not much they could do. Also remember that they had to contend with a mob threatening violence.
1
@bdubs532 They were a clear and present danger and impeding the restraint of a criminal. Event the police suspected he might be on something.
1
@bdubs532 When you have people walking up to you and telling you that they want to take his pulse, then the situation can become volatile. Chauvin is innocent and should be awarded a new trial.
