  1. From what I have heard, two weeks prior to the killing, the sheriff's wife left him due to DV. The mother and daughter were trying to get away from the sheriff and the judge was helping him. This is why the sheriff's statement after the shooting that they're trying to kidnap my wife and daughter makes sense.
