  3. They weren't hunting him down. They were trying to detail him until police arrived. Further if you watch the video, it is Auhmaud who is the aggressor not Travis. If Auhmaud had wrestled the gun away from Travis, he would have shot Travis dead. Therefore Travis also has a right to defend himself.

  4. When Auhmaud tried wresting the shotgun away from Travis, it became a self defence case for Travis McMichael. If you watch the video, it is Auhmaud who is the aggressor not Travis. If Auhmaud had wrestled the gun away from Travis, it would be Travis lying in the middle of the street. This will be a hard case for the prosecution. I think they might get the men on manslaughter.

  5.  @jenniferrae6646  If Ahmaud was white, it would still be a case of self defence. When he tried wrestling for the shotgun, it was a matter of life or death for the person holding the shotgun.

  7.  @Ryan-xw2gm  When Ahmaud went for the gun, does Travis have the right to self defence? If Ahmaud had grabbed the gun, it would be Travis lying on the street with a hole in his chest. All Ahmaud should have done was keep running.

  8.  @Ryan-xw2gm  The McMichael's were going by an antiquated law and sought to detail a suspected thief. Notice the shooting only took place after Ahmaud tried to wrestle the gun away from Travis. If Ahmaud had kept running the McMichael's could not shot him as this would have been murder. However when a struggle over the gun ensued then there is grounds for self defence. Again you fail to take into consideration the antiquated law they were acting upon.

  9.  @Ryan-xw2gm  They were going by Georgia's citizen's arrest law which allows the community to detail a suspect until police arrive. The McMichael's will claim they were armed to protect themselves. I want you to watch the video again and you will see that the shooting only took place when Ahmaud tried to wrestle the gun away from Travis. Also note that Ahmaud was the one punching Travis. Therefore I think the only charge that will stick is manslaughter.

  10.  @Ryan-xw2gm  There was no shot at the front of the truck. Travis did point the gun at Ahmaud and ordered him to stop. This is when Ahmaud went for the gun and the rest is history.

  12.  @Ryan-xw2gm  Like I stated before they took guns to protect themselves as well as to detain the suspect. Their intention was never to kill Ahmaud but to detain him until police arrived. I just don't think the prosecution can prove murder.
