  1. Hindsight is always 20/20. It was Ahmaud not Travis that initiated the assault. The weapon was fired by Travis when both were struggling over the gun. Both men may be acquitted.

Therefore Travis will claim self defence because if Ahmaud wrestled the gun away from him he would have shot Travis, and Travis would have been the one dead on the street. This is a tough case to prosecute. They were going by an antiquated law that states they had the right to apprehend a suspect. I'll be watching the trial with interest.
