In the heat of the moment it is possible to get confused. If Daunte had complied he'd still be alive. He didn't want to go to prison and ended up dead. I guess he got his wish in that he will never set foot in a prison again.

Good point. Also the arresting officer should have taken him to the back of the car where there's no chance of him re entering his car and driving off. Officer Tatum made this point.

If Duante had complied, he'd still be alive. She made a mistake and should be convicted of manslaughter.

Of manslaughter.

She made a mistake. This has nothing to do with racism. She should be charged with manslaughter and serve some time in jail.

@rosearellanes5648 No it was an accidental shooting. Manslaughter plain and simple.

@rosearellanes5648 No manslaughter plain and simple.

@rosearellanes5648 No this is a manslaughter case. She made a mistake and should spend 5 years in prison. Anyone can make a mistake in stressful situations.

One must also take into consideration Ms Potter's mindset. She took out her weapon to protect her fellow officer from being dragged if Duante had started the car and the officer's arm or leg was caught in the door. Therefore she made a mistake and should be charged with manslaughter.

In a stressful event it is easy to mistake a gun for a taser especially when your focus is on protecting your fellow officers and stopping a criminal fleeing.

Daunte played a stupid game and won a stupid prize. That prize was death. None of this would have happened if he had complied. Same with George Floyd. If he had just got into the squad car, he'd still be alive. Instead he decided to OD on drugs and resist arrest.

It was an accident. Black Lies Matter tires to make this more than it is. She should be charged with manslaughter. Daunte would still be alive if he had complied.

The arrest was lawful. Duante had a warrant out for his arrest. It's easy to make a mistake in stressful events.

In the heat of the moment it's easy to mistake a gun for a taser. Secondly her focus was on protecting her fellow officer had Duante started the car and dragged him. This is a clear case of manslaughter.

Manslaughter plain and simple. She should spend at least 5 years in jail.
