The mother didn't mention that she actually called the police on Ahmaud because he wouldn't give her car keys. Nor did she mention that Ahmaud was a schizophrenic and on occasions could become aggressive. She didn't mention the fact that Ahmaud was known as The Jogger. Why was he known as The Jogger you may ask. Because he would enter into stores and run out with stolen goods. At the time of his death, Ahmaud was on probation for two crimes. This explains why he didn't want to be detained. At the time of his death, Ahmaud had cannabis in his system making him more aggressive.

The three men should never have been charged. They had the right under Georgia law to detain and arrest Ahmaud. Ahmaud was only shot in self defence.
2
The family are rotten to the core. They are covering Ahmaud's criminal history. Injustice was served.
2
What's heartbreaking is that three innocent men are going to jail to appease BLM.
2
Ahmaud was a thief. These three men did nothing wrong.
2
The family are liars. Ahmaud was a thief and was only shot in self defence. The three men had the right to detain and arrest Ahmaud.

Their judgement does not slumber. Three innocent men are in jail because their son was a thief, a schizophrenic and a drug user.

The video made by William Bryan clearly shows the shooting in realtime. From said video it appears Ahmaud Arbery was running along the right side of the McMichael truck then abruptly turns 90 degrees to the left and attacks Travis McMichae who was standing at the front left corner of the truck. A brief skirmish ensues in which it appear Arbery strikes McMichael and appears to grab the shotgun and pull it from McMichael The shot is through Arbery s right hand palm which is consistent with him grabbing and pulling the shotgun at the barrel tip , the 2nd and 3rd wounds are consistent with the struggle for the shotgun as depicted in the video , the angle of the 2nd shot with the rear of the buttstock being pushed away and down from the fight area is also consistent with the upward angle of blood plume shown in the video and that McMichael was attempting to push the gun away from Arbery while Arbery was pulling it toward himself. The 3rd shot too appears to be in a struggle over the gun. The angle of the shots and the video show this was from the beginning or almost immediately became-- a fight over the shotgun. Given the fact Arbery initiated the fight, at the point Arbery grabbed the shotgun, under Georgia Law , McMichael was allowed to use deadly force to protect himself. Just as importantly, while we know McMichael had his finger on the trigger, we do not know who caused the firings. Arbery would only had to pull the shotgun approximately 1/ 16th to 1/ 8th of one inch to fire weapon himself and in the height of an altercation this is entirely possible. Arbery s mental health records & prior convictions help explain his apparent aggressive nature and his possible thought pattern to attack an armed man .

The mother is a liar. Ahmaud was a thief and his sins caught up with him. She even called the police on him.

@knrsmith7016 Stop being blinded by hatred. You want evil to win, I want the truth to triumph. They had the right to arrest Ahmaud under GA law.
1
@knrsmith7016 Incorrect. The three men had the right to arrest Ahmaud on suspicion on theft. The jury got it wrong as they were misquoted the law. The only crime committed was that by Ahmaud. Hopefully justice will prevail and the three men will get a new trial.

@elitemarketerclub The only idiot is you. You fail to understand the law and you need to apply it to the facts of the case.
1
@priscillapie The law was misquoted and the jury didn't understand the law.
1
@priscillapie The long paragraphy means everything. It shows that the men had every right under GA law to detain Ahmaud. It also shows that Ahmaud was the aggressor and was shot in self defence. The three men are innocent.
1
@elitemarketerclub The GA law for citizen's arrest.
1
@elitemarketerclub You fail to understand that there are two parts to the law. The first sentence deals with misdemeanors and the second sentence deals with felonies. The requirement for a felony arrest is reasonable and probable grounds of suspicion. The felony was that Mr. English's stuff was stolen. Was Ahmaud seeing fleeing from the Mr. English's house on the day he was shot? Yes. Did the three men have reasonable and probable grounds of suspicion that Ahmaud was the thief? Yes. Therefore they had the right to arrest Ahmaud.
1
@elitemarketerclub If the offense is a felony and the offender is escaping or attempting to escape, a private person may arrest him upon reasonable and probable grounds of suspicion .”

It appears Travis McMichael, Greg McMichael, and Bryan William were following, in hot pursuit of the burglary suspect, with solid firsthand probable cause, in their neighborhood, and asking/ telling him to stop. It appears their intent was to stop and hold this criminal suspect until law enforcement arrived. Under Georgia Law this is perfectly legal, OCGA 17 -4 -60 A private person may arrest an offender if the offense is committed in his presence or within his immediate knowledge . If the offense is a felony and the offender is escaping or attempting to escape, a private person may arrest him upon reasonable and probable grounds of suspicion .” It clearly appears Travis McMichael and Greg McMichael had firearms being carried in an open fashion . The investigation shows neither of them to be convicted felons or under felony supervision , they were in a motor vehicle owned by Travis McMichael. Under Georgia Law this is legal open carry .

They had the right to arrest Ahmaud. Ahmaud only died when he went for the gun.

@Latti3961 Be sure to cry at the grave of Ahmaud Arbery. Better still exhume his body, take out his semen and donate your eggs so that you may raise up seed for Ahmaud. Once the zygote is in your womb make sure you sing this song: Comply and you will not die. Roses are red, violets are blue, Ahmaud's in hell but it's not too late for you. Make sure you raise the child to be an upstanding citizen who doesn't steal, doesn't trespass and doesn't try and go for someone's gun. ;)

In reality the prosecution misquoted the law damning the three innocent men. Read the article I linked to you.
