  2.  @Ah01  the ability to read is a decisive advantage. Giulio Cesare was renamed Novorossiysk (Russian: Новороссийск) by the Soviets & sunk by an explosion end of October 1955 (perhaps an old German mine) at the roads of Sevastopol. Caused by a fatal decision of vice admiral Parchomenko that the crew stayed on board, 608 crewmembers died related to the sinking. Other clandestine theories report Italian or KGB action.

  4.  @Ah01  No Sir! All 3 former Cavour-ships were modified in the same system. Superbuild bow above the old one, mid-turret off, enlarged calibre by drilling the existing barrels. I see no difference.
