  1. The major aspect are the very expensive fun-yachts today, most times with a max speed of 30 knots or slightly above. The lower speed than that of S-boats is related to the fact, that those yachts with 3 or 4 luxurous double-cabins are built of steel & a superstructure of aluminium. Todays diesel-engines, Volvo, MAN, MTU, You name it, do work with 2 or 3k horsepower, not 6k.
