The major aspect of this battle is, that Scheer was enforced to include the hated pre-dreadnoughts into his fleet. The pre-dreadnoughts caused a major slow-down of the High-Seas-Fleet. Without the Pre-Dreadnoughts, Scheer would have been up further in the North and Scheer would have crossed the T of Jellicoe in march formation of 5 columns. This would have caused the major defeat of the Brits the Germans dreamt about.

@dovetonsturdee7033 If do you have sources, would be interesting. What i read is, that Scheer hated the slow cows. And pls think about, the Battle of Tsushima was only 12 years old, and the deadly consequences of inferiour speed very obvious to everyone, confirmed by the Battle of the Doggerbank, when Blücher slowed the German squadron down, not to talk about Spee's obvious failure at the Falklands. How many times mistakes must be repeated?

@dovetonsturdee7033 thx for the info, but what do you think about? In my point of view the German Pre-Dreadnoughts would have been of more use in the Baltics.

@dovetonsturdee7033 Agree, but slow cows present the risk for an entire fleet. The Germans had luck at Jutland, were stupid at Coronel, the Doggerbank, Heligoland and the Falklands. Studipity will be always punished, anyway how well trained the crews are ..... see our best friend Beatty. He may had spiritual relations to Germany.
