  1. The fast US battleships were a failed construction. The long straight mid-aft section was not able to stand opponent's fire & caused problems in stormy weather. So, Vanguard was the ultimate BB at the end. Now we will see the death of Aircraft-Carriers. The US waisted an enourmous amount of money in a dead strategy.
