Surprised me how you pointed out how much we don't know ...

He was seen alive by his followers after he was killed, that's the difference. Especially seen again alive several years later by Paul when he opposed the movement. "Son of God" is a messianic title. After c. 3 decades it appears he was already identified with God in some way, so it probably started to take on a more closely divine association. But it took centuries to develop into the "God the Son" as commonly understood today.

@TheEsotericaChannel Sure. I meant that there's so much we don't know about history.

@theethanatorem That the movement existed at all was because of that oral tradition. While Paul's eyewitness testimony lacks specifics, it includes an explicit claim that Paul saw him in alive and that he instructed Paul to preach him to the nations. I agree with your assessment that it's Paul's interpretation that made it successful as an international movement.

thanks for covering this interesting topic. we actually learned a few points you mentioned in high school, but we didn't have time to dive into details.

Thanks so much for sharing this.

Thank you so much for this. I've always wondered how it happened and this makes a lot of sense.

Trouble is, there's so much content uploaded every second, it's impossible to manually check everything, so they have to rely on faulty algorithms. They fail so often that it's also impossible for them to deal with all the complaints. Plus they cannot risk getting sued by big music companies, so they have to err on the side of not getting sued. On my channel, I once included a portion from a creative commons track and they were going to block the entire video. The match was correct, they just weren't informed that it had been released years ago under a CC licence. In the end it was simpler to just remove the offending portion. Another time I subbed a Japanese song released under creative commons. They blocked it in Japan because they confused it with someone's cover of the same song. Even after I contested, they kept the block. I contented myself that it was still available in English speaking countries.

Wow thanks so much for covering this. I'm sad that most haven't survived, but as you said, the earth is yet to give up all its secrets.

I don't think it's malicious. I think the problem is that doing it correctly is impossible. There's too much content uploaded continuously and they need to rely on algorithms that are inherently faulty to catch legitimate offenders. They can't risk getting sued so their processes err on the side of caution, even if it means more false positives. Problem is there are so many false positives they can't afford to process them properly.

Thanks. I wanted to learn a bit about gnosticism. I hadn't realized there could be a long back story to it.
