  1.  @martinmuzoc  It’s not phony. I assume you’ve never been in an American Baptist or Pentecostal church. This is the faith-language, the truth-speaking code for millions of Americans, of White, Brown and Black races. You probably never waved your hand in the air in a church service, or murmured softly “yes, yes” in the sermon. Being free to express your feelings out loud is a healthy thing to do. Dr West is fluent in Professor/PhD (Dr) speak and Christian church speak and allegory and what long ago was called street jive. Now that’s authenticity as well as versatility!
