  2. Honestly, you can learn the rules of good reporting & writing in about 4 courses or fewer. My minor is in Journalism, major in English language/literature, plus 2 years graduate teaching assistant in introductory Public Speaking as I worked towards a Masters — quit just short of orals & thesis — lazy & tired. But I still know what is & what isn’t journalism! And I have a knack at persuasive speaking/propaganda. Those rules don’t really change, either. If interested, look up the “motivated sequence” in public speaking.
