  2. Some US talking head on (I think) Reuters stated the US is fairly certain that Russia will take no serious military steps in Ukraine for the next 4 months. This gives Ukraine time to re-arm and re-supply, it was suggested. (( wishful thinking? ))

  48. Lovely! Delightful! And it’s not 100 F heat as we are having in New Orleans, Louisiana! Unheard of heat for day after day and drought. Other parts of USA having floods—also unprecedented. It’s not global warming. It’s solar heat which is not being blocked by Earth’s thinning atmosphere. OR it’s shifts in climate flow in accord with migration of the north & south poles. OR (whatever theory you want). St Petersburg looks like an oasis to me!
