  2. I’ve started reading “the First World War” by Martin Gilbert, 600 pgs. In the first 17 pages, I can understand how so many comment that today’s Europe/Asia are comparable to 1900-1920’s Europe. Financial adventurism—ethnic hatreds—capitalistic greed. And humankind being exploited; cannon fodder. Riches & military power prevail. Humans are slightly more intelligent than a mound of ants. Ants fight invading ants to the death of all invaders; humans sometimes agree to end wars via treaties. Sometimes.

  4. I’m beginning to have strong doubts about the reported “stockpile” of Russian missiles/bombs. High power missiles & bombs. Bakhmut is the active conflict site with skirmishes up & down the Dnieper & at Zap nuclear site. Even in a “modified” military action, this is a small assault.

  5. I don’t for a minute think UkrNazis are focused on Bakhmut. Look at Crimea (obviously) and to the Polish border. Especially to the Polish border, maybe in & around Lviv (???) Has Russia sufficiently damaged road & rail supply lines from the West? Why fight the Enemy if you can likely force them into large camps or training sites and then use large yield air-delivered bombs/ordnance? This will be a short summer……(???)
