  1. Why should Ukraine negotiate when business goes on as usual in Kyiv? US & Ukr see the war as a financial opportunity; there is no obvious concern for the Ukr military personnel or for civilians. To destroy a snake, you cut off its head; ()Elenskiy is not the head of the snake. Kyiv is the symbolic head of the viper of Ukraine.
