  1. That’s those white nights I’ve heard about. The water looks clean! There’s so much room for people! Boulevards, malls, mini-parks with benches! Dining Al fresco! So friggin CIVILIZED ! 😱. (PS: If one is a Communist Dupe, and gets to live in such genteel, sociable, polite and well kept places, y’all come & drag me away to Commie-land! ) ( I know, I know, it’s democratic now! ) New Orleans ( much smaller a city ) was just as lovely 60-65 years ago. I remember it so well.
