Vaccines in my parish/county in Louisiana for those aged 70+ years are available via appts at 7 pharmacies—2 connected with a for profit Hosp system & 5 at really unheard of independent drug stores that only have a very local reputation. No CVS, Walgreens, Walmart pharmacy, and only 100 appointments available at each site. Parish politics??? We are a commuter location equidistant from Baton Rouge and New Orleans. At this rate, it will be many months before my 80 yr old neighbor with prior health problems can be vaccinated the first time. 4400 new cases in state today——— tick tick tick tick. 💣 💥 BOOM!
