  1. You never rode Greyhound on college weekend runs! New Orleans to Hammond, LA was my weekend way back and forth to little Southeastern Louisiana University, and the bus rides were communal events!

  2. I know the Union Passenger Terminal building, now including bus as well as train service is ugly as homegrown sin, but I still love the old architecture. Probably built during the depression, it needs some stylish updates. Still, it’s part of my home, & I love it.
