Let's face it: there is coal and iron in Donbas and potential gas and oil fields around Crimea. Even if Putin and his oligarchs don't mandatorily need to own this they are not keen on having competitors on the Europaen natural recource market.

@sergeypopov2719 sorry to say that, but your tale is so predictable in demonizing Ukrainians and Zelenskiy and down playing the current devastion and killing. I don't see any excuse in your listing for bombing Kharkiv or Sumy to rubble and forcing innocent people to live in fear in their cellars. Banning the Russian language is not true either. This might apply for official document but not for every day life. And is it really that hard, if I live in Ukraine to exchange an "и" to am "i" when I fill out an official form once a year. Sure Ukraine has a neonazi problem, but is it enough to bomb all kind of Ukrainians. Sweden, Germany or France have also problems with neonazis and right extremist: so is Putin bombing Berlin, Paris and Stockholm next?!?

I don't remember that the Independence Square of Kharkiv is situated in Iraq or was already bombed in 2021. Besides Putin dispossessed when ever he likes...

@sergeypopov2719 that whole war makes no sense as wars in general make civilians suffer, are barbaric and prehistoric. Still don't get how you want to know which information I consume. Your generalizations and assumptions just illustrate your bias agenda. Did you see the pictures of all "the 14000+ and a lot of children" you mentioned before?? Sorry, your argumention is just ridiculous. Please find someone else... BTW, France is already a nuclear power.

Sorry, these maps maybe give some background and orientation - but they certainly do not explain an invasion, destruction and the killing of innocent people.
