What's the point unless there are other brands you want to see tested? Personally, I would like to see more stuff not made in China.

From these tests they were certainly one of my favorites already.

@stephenarling1667 I agree. Although my first noco buy didn't impress me. It was having trouble starting a scooter. I wanted a way to stop buying a new battery every year or so, so I wanted to use the noco for every start up. It didn't work well from the beginning, so maybe it needs a battery that is still half alive.

@weswes10 The reported "advancements" are, but usually it's just pie-in-the-sky "we're working on it" type of thing. I'd settle for updates every other year or every 3rd year.

@Stevo_1998 I don't think that is true. Just to buy a 4 pack of Samsung 18650 batteries was over $40, and that was before much of all this inflation started. Larger battery packs probably use more than that, so $80 wouldn't surprise me.

I don't know, that's a lot of damage!

@Zodliness Nice

I'd stay away from the cheap coated ones. Once the coating comes off you could be exposed to dangerous elements because walmart doesn't care. I know because they refused to answer questions about the pan I bought.

I'm not surprised that the one from Japan was better quality, I'm just surprised the one from China was anywhere close to it.

The whole point of buying lithium is so that you can recharge them.

Would it be possible to find any that aren't made in China? Also, what are the safety features on devices like these, are they about as safe as phones?

I'm thinking the Tack life is the most value for the price, with Gooloo 4000 being the most powerful. In your comparison chart, the Tack life beat the goo loo 2000 in peak amps, so I don't understand why you didn't include it in the final recommendation with the other 4 at the end.

They are nice, but I'd have to buy a battery bank for them, and I'd have to find a way to route the exhaust outside of the house.

31 mph with a 80cc? Won't 49cc scooters go faster than that, or at least the same speed?

Oh I see. Thanks for the reply and the upload.

@thomasjaszewski64 Electric is not cheap after buying the battery. And then you have a new set of problems of max distance and a place to plug it in at home.
1
@thomasjaszewski64 Of course there is sticker shock. You are talking well over $500 for an electric set up (even when you are building it yourself), when these gas options are less than half that amount. Do you have any real statistics for your claims or just personal experiences?

The Berkey results are surprising and shameful. Although maybe it needed to be broken in more before working better.
