I'm also happy to present a counter-argument against the claim that "we don't need those gender roles these days". Look at the statistics of children coming from single parent households or even the ones growing up without a father. A nuclear family unit is a huge advantage for the children. His point was "Girls are weak, men are strong. This is what has been subconsciously communicated to boys and girls all over the world. This is wrong, this is toxic, and this has to end". He is an SJW fighting against telling the truth of reality. Just because there are exceptions does not mean you need to stop teaching the general rule. He does get to decide what "overly masculine" means for him. He does not get to extrapolate and define what it means for other men.
