Rohan Shinde That is a fallacy. Just because something is "outdated" does not mean it is wrong or that it should be changed.

Nathan? "Fallacy fallacy" Not at all, I was confronting a perceived bias against gender roles of the past. I'm also happy to present a counter-argument against the claim that "we don't need those gender roles these days". Look at the statistics of children coming from single parent households or even the ones growing up without a father. A nuclear family unit is a huge advantage for the children. "They'd used" They had used? They who? What are you trying to say? I never made the claim that such and such is natural, therefore it is right. You should spend less time looking for a fallacy game, and more time making a logical argument. "gender roles hurt both men and women" Therefore everyone should believe you just because you made the claim? You are looking at the degradation of society and blaming what it is losing for the problems while you ignore plenty of other factors. "that's fine, but that's not for everyone" We understand that, nobody here is trying to force one norm on everyone else. Why do leftists try to bring up 1%-5% exceptions as if it should apply to the majority, or as if it means anything when we are talking about the majority? We know there will be some exceptions, that is beside the point. "blind constraints... can only hurt us" Only if you are pathetic enough to be hurt by the fact that societal norms or majorities exist.

Liberal nonsense word salad and catch phrases. Men are stronger than women in general, deal with reality and stop being so anti-science.

His point was "Girls are weak, men are strong. This is what has been subconsciously communicated to boys and girls all over the world. This is wrong, this is toxic, and this has to end". He is an SJW fighting against telling the truth of reality. Just because there are exceptions does not mean you need to stop teaching the general rule. He does get to decide what "overly masculine" means for him. He does not get to extrapolate and define what it means for other men.
