@117ralph No. That is "yearning to breathe [be] free" not "yearning to get everything for free". And the inference and understanding has ALWAYS been that they present themselves at a proper border crossing, not come across illegally and unknown. Nor are we ruled by some pie in the sky poem, so you can shove both the statue and the poem where the sun doesn't shine while you take it back to France.

If they were really "refugees" then they can show up at a proper border crossing. The whole reason for separating the children is because there was a lawsuit about keeping the kids with the parents in jail in the first place! So you can keep your crocodile tears and pearl clutching. Having completely open borders so you can cheat the voting system by importing voters is not on the table for debate.

Exactly. Stupid liberals don't consider that it is the only alternative and it was already ruled out by previous lawsuits. You can't let kids wander into America alone, and we aren't going to open the borders and stop punishing illegals for breaking the law. I've yet to see one of these leftist hypocrites offer to personally care for immigrant families in their own home, much less be responsible for any crimes. No, they just want all of America to carry that burden while they call it charity and pat themselves on the back.

@Cleverly relatable Username IKR? We should have work camps so they can earn their keep. And then I'll count on one hand the number of liberals that aren't filthy hypocrites and willing to personally take the kids place.
