It is our right not to pay for anything we didn't vote for. Let the psychotic democrats vote for all the horrible programs that they want, and only they will pay for it.

@lancethrustworthy Public "education" which is really indoctrination, is a joke, a laughing stock. And no I don't owe you or anyone else anything. You don't have the right to steal from me, anymore than I can gather up your neighborhood and vote to end your life or steal your house. The whole point of my suggestion defeats your premise of "all citizens are expected to pay". You are morally bankrupt. Deferring the actions that you have no right to do onto the majority vote or "gov't" does not make the action morally right. You are just too much of a coward to steal from people door to door yourself, and you are too much of an intellectual coward to admit that is what you are getting gov't to do for you, when you vote for more taxes and more gov't. [Or when you demand to keep the status quo.]

I'm not interesting in voting for how the evil gov't will steal my money and use it for something, I'm interesting in NOT paying for anything that I don't vote for.

@Pyrzex Then don't bother responding at all if you refuse to make a rational argument. I shouldn't have to explain what "not an argument" means to an intelligent person.
2
@Pyrzex No, you are just terrified by the prospect of people having true freedom and real representation, that they won't have to participate in your tyranny. That your rich self-righteous leftist A-holes wouldn't be willing or able to carry the programs that you want.
2
They aren't concerned about art when they are tearing down statues without any democratic vote. Graffiti is disgusting and people should be punished for the damage they cause to property.
2
@unknownfacts2330 They are so blind to their own evil.
2
Because aside from genealogy experts, only racists are obsessed about race.
2
@Pyrzex That is NOT an argument.

@Kelly_Ben Unfortunately it isn't as simple as just doing more research and trusting the science. Science has been corrupted. Watch the crisis of science by the corbett report. Nor should you expect leftists to respect such fierce dedication to practicality, facts, and making future choices based on demonstrable results. Instead it's "We didn't see any benefit from the last 100 million thrown at education? Let's throw another 100 million, it just needs more funding!"
1
@Kelly_Ben I wish I could say it was only the far left.

The Four Horsemen Yes, the people that want to keep what they earn are selfish, and the people that want to take it from them under threat of violence and death are not selfish at all. /s

@ArtArtisian Society does not ask. There are no laws that are not backed under threat of imprisonment and death if you resist the morally wrong actions of the police that are there to enforce those laws.
1
@ArtArtisian And what happens when you resist their morally wrong theft of your property? And of course it exists without society. That is like saying art doesn't exist without copyright laws that acknowledge the creator as the owner. Property and moral right and wrong exist outside of such an absurd framework as society. I don't care about your irrelevant example and rabbit trail about "optimization". If someone wants something to happen, then they can make the argument and convince as many people as they can to fund it. If people refuse to fund it, it doesn't happen. You don't need to complicate it.
1
@ArtArtisian "Rights only exist" That is false. Rights are rights regardless of how much they are respected. The gov't and society can trample our rights as it often does, but that doesn't mean the right doesn't exist, it just means it is being trampled and a moral wrong has been committed. Delusional people are irrelevant to my rights if they want to claim my sandwich regardless of the fact that they didn't pay for it, they didn't make it, and they didn't give it to me.
1
@ArtArtisian I resist with any force necessary if they refuse to listen to reason and to respect my right. Or I give in to theft because I am outnumbered and I leave the area because of the evil people and they have one less person to steal from in the future. Why you think this has any relevance is beyond me. How they view their own actions has no bearing on my rights. Other cultures are irrelevant. Let them live how they want to live, but they don't have the right to force it onto others. That is why Western values and culture is so important, it provides the framework for a society that is intended to RESPECT rights, but it does not create rights unless they are so vague and outside the ballpark of human rights as to bring into question whether they are rights at all. They should be considered more as privileges given to certain members or all members of that society.

It is more Baizuo crying and oppression Olympics.

That isn't good enough. The only thing that will stop the evils of gov't is when people don't have to pay for nonsense that they didn't vote for. Gov't theft for spending would nearly vanish overnight. You leftists can vote for all the programs that you want to pay for, and the republicans can vote for all the military they are willing to personally pay for.
