So instead of finding a way to kill them off completely, they are testing products so companies can make money off of these pests?

"It takes serious tragedy for them to open their eyes a bit and say "Oh maybe, maybe a little bit of innovation and change could be good thing in certain circumstances". Oh you mean like how liberals are willing to consider changing immigration when people from a horrible religion and culture keep attacking and killing people over and over? Oh wait no, that isn't what they say at all.

They really need to work on the design if they are really thinking ahead and hoping that this will catch on. Visibility, comfort, and practicality need to be considered. I also wonder if they have delved into all the depths of aerodynamics that are possible. Mythbusters modified a car to have golf ball type pits on its surface, and according to them, it increased the MPG. Perhaps even before considering the added weight of the material added on to the car to create the "golf ball" type pits or holes in the surface.

Nubyrc Actually, it's both. The gov't is constantly increasing. When have you heard of the gov't giving up power and give up taxes AND spending? And the corporations couldn't do what they do without gov't. You think monsanto could get away with their crimes without the courts siding with them? Not to mention all the lobbyists whispering in lawmakers ears?
