I guess the real Hobbits are the super wealthy all along.

@Maelstromme We aren't in a free market. This is a corporatocracy.

Demand that the laws be changed, or don't expect men to come back to the marriage table.
11
Yes, I'm sure YOUR politicians and big business are squeaky clean, and only have the consumers interest at heart. /S
10
@Dave_of_Mordor Most people are skeptical for good reason. We just got through years of "trust the science" being proved wrong and the conspiracy theorist being proved right. You'd have to be stupid or go to public school to believe that's how science works from the start.

I tried to talk reason into two different YouTubers that got into the Bitconnect scam. They both refused to listen.

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul
6
@TheRealZeke2003 Only if you don't understand the definition of the free market. And you've got some gall whining about a theoretical Utopia that was never promised or attempted, meanwhile history is littered with examples of the failure of socialism.
6
But if you never did the math and never checked up on your customers, there is no way you would have known. But getting people stuck in debt is always a bad thing. If people can't afford to pay for most of it outright, or to install it themselves, they should not be getting solar.
6
@subliminalphish A sucker is born every minute. And if you don't get anything in writing, you may as well be sitting at the south end of a north bound unicorn breathing in rainbow farts.
4
Well they must have seriously fubar the coding, because the whole point of having a robot companion is so that they don't talk back or make your life difficult in any way. At least you can turn off a robot. Humans are far more likely to not STFU.
4
@OneElkCrew That means you will be more blindsided if and when it does happen to you. I don't know of anywhere in the EU where they honor the human right of self-defense and maybe that's why poisoning you isn't necessary because you are all already helpless and compliant.
3
It's not an asset, it is a liability. And it gets worse the older the panels get.
3
What about never go into debt in the first place? Also "The borrower is servant to the lender" - Proverbs 22 : 7

@nikola119 You don't have to cover the whole roof, some of the tiles are dummy tiles. Unless of course the homeowner wants to prepare for the worst months in winter and still have some power, then maybe he over produces during the summer. That isn't a problem if you can get the power company to pay you for the extra power. I agree with your other points though.
2
@LimeEngine By definition it is a liability if you owe someone else for it AKA a loan. That's because nobody is going to guarantee that your electric bill will disappear or at least make up for the loan payment, and certainly not all year round.
2
@LimeEngine Germany is at fault for not investing in Nuclear power like France. Most people in the USA don't even stay in their house for that long. If it is eventually a benefit, they won't be there long enough to see it. And again, you can't classify it as an asset IF you are still paying for it. That is by definition a liability. People love to buy cars, but many fail to realize that it is a depreciating asset, and a liability until it is paid off. Also, in about 15 years you will likely have to start replacing the failing solar panels and batteries. So it's nowhere near the sunshine and rainbows that sales people like to paint.
2
@LimeEngine Let's not argue about the differences between assets and liabilities. If you want to take on a liability/ loan and you run the math and it will give a good ROI in an acceptable amount of years, then go ahead, I won't stop you. If your math is wrong, that is on you.
2
They can try to draft me, but would prefer to give my answers to gov't agents in lead.
2
@Chad-Tyrone-Pookey I agree. But it's also true that most Americans are overweight or obese and should lose weight. "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink."
2
@Diamantopulos It isn't necessarily Jake. YT can ban comments with certain words. I've also been shadow banned before. That means you can see your own comment, but nobody else can. So you don't even know that YT is stabbing you in the back.

"War is a racket" - Smedley Butler - Retired General

What is the reason to stop him? Surrender and you will save lives. Accept the "help" from the west and the war will drag on and on and thousands more will die. All for what? To keep your own corrupt leaders in power?
1
The USA IS doing it already. Remember the people that protested the 2020 election? They were illegally held without charge and tortured. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to political prisoners and people, even US citizens being murdered by the gov't.
1
America CAN NOT be the police for the world. Or economy is in ruins thanks to corrupt and evil leaders. We have no business sending money and supplies overseas that we can not afford in the first place.
1
This isn't AI, it's a bunch of scum greedy companies taking advantage of lonely people.
1
@quentagonthornton49 I am happy to acknowledge and discuss the failings of America in that area, but in no way does that disprove anything I said about the EU.
1
@nikola119 Then perhaps a power dump of a sand battery or pumped-storage hydroelectricity.
1
Too many gullible people that believe the climate alarmists and the green nutters that think solar will save the day. It only provides power during the day and then the best scenario of perfect angle, perfect temperature, and with no cloud cover barely happens if at all. Most people come home in the evening, so that's when they start using a lot more power. Without a battery system they will have to use power from the grid, which of course means they will get a power bill.
1
So one is in support of war and enslavement of millions, and the other is an obvious ad that may exaggerate the need for their services to sell something you may or may not need. Why exactly are you complaining?
1
@KingDayDayDay00 Because it is patriotic to buy slave made goods from China if it makes Jeff Bezos richer. /s
1
That depends if you were already on your phone for that amount of time.
1
@fullanarchy Except that gov'ts are some of the worst polluters. It's not enough to just demand more from big companies that are already in collusion with gov't and supported by gov't.
1
@makesumwake It's not dating, it's prostitution with extra steps. :D
1
Not going to happen. The media is the PR arm of our corrupt and criminal governments. They work for these evil globalists.
1
There is no such thing as a socialist paradise. It lasts for a while until they run out of other people's money to spend and the success of a capitalist past, then it inevitably ends in starvation and worse.
1
If only these corrupt companies spent that much effort on finding a healthy sugar free sweetener.
1
Yeah it's not like the US would illegally hold you in prison without charge and torture you. Oh wait, they are already doing that to the 2020 election protesters. And then they hold a clown court for the political prisoners and force them to repent. It's chilling how evil our government is.... how ALL governments are.
1
They did control us all. They got to see how most all of society were sheep just ready and willing to follow every single order. How easily you would condemn those that were not compliant. How angry you would get at those that dared to question the official narrative.
1
You are oblivious if you think it can't happen where you live. Look up the video "It can't happen here" on the channel Larken Rose. And that was made roughly 9 years ago, before all the crimes against humanity supposedly done in the name of the virus.
1
And yet they do nothing about the open corruption of people like Pelosi.
1
That sounds like a lot, but think about it, you wouldn't be saving anything unless you went through the trouble of doing it yourself.
1
@brettg1777 A bird in hand is worth two in the bush.
1
Name them as they are. Globalists and politicians. While true there is evil in all of us and the potential for harm, none are so dangerous as those that seek out power and control over others.
1
It wouldn't be so easy if there weren't legitimate reasons for the divisions. What goals do I have in common with democrats? They are trying to destroy America and our precious values. I want nothing to do with them other than to stop their anti-human rights actions.
