**What is the proportional response for Palestinians with the occupation and the killing that they had every year by IDF? **What can be their response if they are kicked out of their homes and living in a prison and IDF kill there women and children every year and the world is supporting the killer? **What could you have done if you are responsible for Palestinians?

One of the key ways in which Britain created the Israel/Gaza conflict was through its colonial policies in the region. During the period of British rule in Palestine, which lasted from 1917 to 1948, the British government favored the Jewish population over the Arab population, leading to tensions between the two groups. The British government also failed to address the concerns of the Palestinian people, leading to widespread resentment and anger towards the British authorities. Furthermore, Britain's decision to partition Palestine in 1947 and support the creation of the state of Israel further exacerbated the conflict. The partition plan, which was proposed by the United Nations, divided Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states, with Jerusalem as an international city. This decision was met with widespread opposition from the Arab population, who saw it as a violation of their rights and a betrayal by the British government.

@melburke5405 you talking about State land that does not mean it was the UK to grant. It means it's state owned. This is like the UK granting British Indian lands to Carribean people. I'm all for co-existence, but the idea of forcing people out because your supposed ancestors were somewhere thousands of years ago is as silly as it sounds if we weren't fed this as normal.

What "war" involves such a deeply skewed power structure? What "war" involves the complete entrapment of an entire people to one side where the oppressor and occupier subjugates them in every way to begin with? What country props up and "funds" a militant group at the risk of their own security just to discredit the other group and to ruin any chance of them receiving their own state. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. This is as much of a war as Sandy Hook was a war. Completely unequal sides with Goliath western countries arming and a corrupt superpower vetoing the rest of the world's voices. Israel could have sent in special ops for a long period to track down the masterminds of this. They could have tracked down the soldiers who managed to come back alive over a longer duration while also allowing for a prisoner swap of Palestinian hostages for all their Israeli ones. They could have finally been open to a Palestinian state so as to be the "good guys" in the world's view and to encourage Palestinians to hold new elections. No, instead, they wanted to take advantage of the situation to steal Gaza as a whole under the guise of the hostages (that they themselves killed in many cases!)
