  1. You have a larger exit speed with smoothbore and this enhances the penetration power. It makes mor sense to attach fins to the projectile than using the spin for keeping the direction.

  2. 31:10 a MBT is a tank to encounter other MBT´s or tanks. The job of keeping guys with a RPG on distance should be made by infantry tanks, like the Puma. A Leopard and a Puma also advance only in combination.

  3. Germany has made the best experiences with the 120mm, l55 barrel, thats why it sticks ot the 120mm. 130 and 140mm caliber have been tested but the 120mm with a l55 barrel and the latest sort of KE ammunition is enaugh to kill any other tank on a battlefield.
