  1. The unignited gasoline in the cylinder washed away the oil film and caused the cylinder scoring. The next few hundred miles will show how much oil the engine is now consuming and whether air/fuel/combustion gases are getting into the oil. If this is the case, then unfortunately the engine is gone.
