  19. Ato Nympha The big question is, why would someone buy a Maybach 900 to burn just rubber - he could get many cars cheaper for that task. BTW. even if you wan´t to kill your old tires on a Maybach, it is a hell of work after it to get rid of all the little rubber glimmer at the fenders. This liquid rubber sparks can also ruin your fender coat finaly - so burn-outs are usualy for cheap scarp cars.

  20. The Merc AMG cars have so much power, that only the 9G-TRONIC could handle them. The AMG V12 engine is even limited from native ca. 1300 NM torque to 1.000 NM to prevent crushing the G-TRONIC gearbox wich could handle 1.000 NM. The E and S-Class are usualy daily driver und busines cars wich means that the gearbox must last a few hundret thousend miles in contrast to a super sports car wich is mostly driven only occasionally.

  22. 20 years and the last 4 owners will not have spend a single cent for service and the car will have a hughe maintenance jam. A 200k car has the same %-maintenance costs than a not premium car, but in line with the list price. Just a broken door opener heating can eg cause hundredes of mail functions, if the same fuse is used for eg the ABS system. The broken fuse cuts of parts of the ABS system from power and this causes a wave of errors in other systems who are interconnected. In this case you need a service garage who is able to identify the error (400 bugs for a new doorhandle, or just cut a cable) and did not charge you thousends for a new ABS system, etc. etc. - but this special garages are rare. watch?v=sBpPHkIjUPw

A freind drove his mothers 928S at 290 km/h on the A31 as one of the brackets for the rubber spoiler lips got lose and the bar hit the surface. At 290 m/h this caused a spark flow like a sylvester rocket. It was saturday at ca. 23:00 and we later found a fuel station were we could borrow a iron saw to cut of the loose and grinding bar from the front spoiler to get forewar with more than 60 km/h. But the party night out was canceled and we visited a nearby club instead of the famous Checkers Club in Düsseldorf.

  30. Porsche invested more than a Billion in new/additional production lines, therefore the capacity is enlarged and the GT2RS is actually not limited. As far as i heard the GT3/GT2RS, GT3RS will alternate on a own 911 GT production line which is actually producing the GT3 with PDK. In Autumn the line will switch to GT3 with manual and then the GT2RS in early 2018. I guess the right hand drive version will be produced at the end of each production turn.

The official Porsche race team members are also the first who receive a GT3RS by factory prices. The price is actually ca. €12k per month for a GT3 race team, inclusive all wear parts, except tires.

  67. My Porsche dealer told me today that i could get my GT3 with PDK at the 11th August and i will leave my 991.2 Turbo in exchange there.The 991.2 Turbo is phenomenal, but to fast. After driving the car for nearly two years, you get even used to the abnormal acceleration. The GT3 is not that quick, but much more fun on country roads as you can rev the gears and dose the power more precisely at fast cornering.

  82. The 911 Turbo S has a problem - the car is to fast. You can't use that power outside of Germany. In many other European countries they can confiscate the car if you are to fast. For road trips you need a GT (Grand Tourisme) car which is designed for this purpose. GT´s usually have a V8 with power at low revs, which is not the terrain of a high spinning 911 flat 6.

  95. Ato Nympha I have nothing against BMW as their M - machines are exceptionally driving machins. I own a BMW 750i and a 850 CI. But actually Mercedes has his nose clear in the the front with its marvelous now biturbo V8 engine. As a owner of a class A race license, i would as a Merc owner and driver prefer the non aspirated V8 over the Merc V8 for sheer driving pleasure. The Merc V8 bitubo is faster, but the BMW V8 gives you a more driect feel to the ground. Tghe BMW is a bit slower, but if you do not run against a oponent, you have more pleasure on hard tracks with the BMW in civile use, the AMG angine has mutch more torque to push you in the seats. So it is a really difficult decision- faster corner or higher speed on teh striagh at the end. But we speak here about aboslut supercars and the difference in comparison to other cars is not-marginal.

But this bikers are also Hasardeurs by biking on the road. i knew that they couls appear on my track to the office, so i always calculate with them, that makes the track even more difficult but also more interesting t drive. I just bought a 918 and that driving style is very odd - every time you take the foot from the gas the batteries are recharged, but this slows the car down like having a foot on the breaks. So you want to take a bend with 90 and usualy accelerate after 3/4 of the bend, now you have to accelerate at 50% of the bend, otherwise you would leave the bend´s 3/4 with 75, because of the engine braking. As a GT3RS driver you really have to get used to this behavior, as the GT3RS slown down according to the natural engine RPM.

But the actuall differencde is, that only Bentley/VW uses a twin tubo as they combined two VR6 to a W12 VV to a W engine. The result is a W12 or doubele V6 but not a V12 by technical design. Even Jaguar Daimler used this idea with the "double six"as they could not develop a working V12. Only BMW was at that time a car producer with a native V12 with the 750/ 850 series.

A other point are the life cycles of a litium ion battery - after 1.000 the are flat - so you need every 3-4 years a ultra expensive battery back. The rest of the country is takig a early sun bath at 20-23° C, but the Nurburgring is at max. 16°C and possibel rain. The Turbo has much more power on the straight but the GT3 is more controlable and can be driven therefore more at the physical limits. The GT3 tells you loud and clear that you are at a physical limit, and you feel secure by ridding o this limits. The Turbo S has more perfotmance, but not the level of communication - so as race driver you will thrust a car that constantly tells you it´s state without any translators, bevcause you drive the car and on track your life is on risk.

You can enhance the turbo spinning and pressure, but than the lifespan of the turbo is extremely low, if fragments of a broken turbo enter the engine, the motor is also jam.

There is no need to cool down a (German) car after a racetrack, the engine cooling is constantly provided, you just have to chill out every car after a high performace run by keeping the engnie running for at least 5 minutes. The oil pump is driven by the engine and not a e-motor, so after a hot lap/ round the motor has to still run to keep keep the oil pump and lead the engine heat evade to the cooling syystem. If the motor is shut off, also the pumps are shut off and the engine is badly coolig down.

Work permissions will also not that big problem if the employer writes a letter to the job center, were he claims that he needs a native English speaker for the certain job - international customer, etc.. The job center will than give their OK to the foreigners authority. But the residency permission is than bound to the job. If the job is lost, the permission lasts at least as long as unemployment benefit (SGB I) is paid. If SGB I has ended after max. 18 month and no new job has been found, the residency permission can be revoked. But this are mostly individual decisions by the official in charge and handled completely diffrent in every federal state and local administration. If the local administration is unfriendly, a other (like in Berlin) does not care and extends the permission automatically for years without any questions. But a German dual citizenship is also easy to get, and with it also a EU passport wich allows to live and work all over the EU - best option and does not even cost money.

  262.  @veemacks7255  I do it a other way. I have a German GmbH a English LTD and and a offshore LTD. The English LTD imports goods to Germany and sells them to the GmbH for a high price. The prices are that hig that the GmbH makes less profit and pays less taxes. The English LTD has to pay hughe license fees to the offshore LTD and also makes due to the fees no profit. The offshore LTD is owned by a other offshore company (for security reasons) and my house cars, etc. are owned by the top level offshore company wich i own. For the German tax office i am a poor guy who has not even a own house - but a credit card from a offshore company.
