  2.  @damianbutterworth2434  I am in my mid 50´s and run my own company with over 140 employees on the payroll. The CEO of Rheinmetall is a good buddy of me and we share a hunting district. We also talked about 155mm productions in Europe. Rheinmetall will produce in 2024 700,000 - 800,000 155mm shells and double the output in 2025 with its factories in Germany, Spain (fromer Expal) and South Africa (former Denel).

  3. For infantery support a vehicle with 20-30mm autocannon + anti tank missile system is much more usefull, esp. if the missile system can also be aimed at air targets.

  4. Georg Fischer (GF) is a Swiss and not a German company. The company scraped the department, because of the lack of orders and while GF moved from metal to plastic processing.

  5.  @damianbutterworth2434  I also very much doubt that there was ever a plan to move production to Germany. Germany has its own 150mm producers (Rheinmetall) and even they complained about a lack of orders. Germany has been a leader in industrial production for decades. In the past, not a single factory was relocated to Germany. Only factories (steel industry) in Germany were dismantled and sold abroad (mostly China).   6. Trader Joe is Aldi and this since 1979. Aldi are two companies, Aldi South and Aldi North. The Aldi founder (two borthers) had a twist and and divided the company between them in north and south (of Germany). Both Aldi companies are also on the US market. Trader Joe is owned by Aldi North and Aldi South operates in the US as Aldi. Aldi North is in: Germany, USA (via Trader Joe´s), Belgium, France, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Aldi South is in: Germany, USA, UK, Australia, China, Ireland, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Slowenia, Hungary (Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarkets are also Aldi South.) The two Aldi brothers have died and the heirs are currently in negotiations to join Aldi South and Aldi North in one Aldi company again.
