  3.  @tonyoliver5537  To be a "serial" production car, the producer has to produce a certain amount of the car and SSC is light years away of the minimum to fulfill those requirements. This requiremsnts are set up by the FIA to keep race competitions fair - otherways some guys would install a motor that lasts only 500 miles but wins every race.

  14. It´s not about the weather, it´s about traction - drag strips have masses of rubber on the sorface wich provide max. traction.
