Most dieters in the USA follow a low-carb diet and bread contains carbohydrates. This is not so bad if the bread does not contain sugar and the spread is also sugar-free. In the USA, most bread contains additional sugar and the toppings also contain extremely high amounts of sugar, such as the famous sweetened peanut butter.

A friend of mine had in the early 1990´s a 205GTI, the car was always broken. We always took turns driving at the weekend and if his 205 broke down again, he was allowed to drive his father's black S-Class (W140). So I didn't mind if the 205 broke down again, because the S500 was much more comfortable and much cooler.

Germany has some ice free roads, they use a ground heating to keep it ice free, esp. at some ciritical points like bridges over water.

Not paying at the gas station is a criminal offense. The first time you get away with a hefty fine, the second time you're more likely to go to prison. The license plates on vehicles aren't just for decoration, the owner of the vehicle is registered and responsible for the vehicle. Your driving license can even be revoked, and driving without a license can also land you in prison. Driving with fake or stolen license plates also leads to prison.

The luggage racks are not typical for line busses, only if the head towards a air port.

With a camper you probly drive long distances to your holiday tour/destination and doing this with a with a V8 gas guzzler would be total nonsense, esp. by the european fuel prices.

The truck is virtually hybrid, because it is propelled by oxygene wich is chemically transformed to electric energy via a fuel cell. The tanks on the side are most likely oxygene tanks and oxygene can be produced by electricity. If the elecrticity for the oxygene production is generated by wind turbines, the truck operates CO2 free.

Istanbul is divided by the Bosphorus Strait, one part of the city is in Europe, the other already in Asia. The Hagia Sophia in the image is in the European part of the city and the view point is from the Asian side.

The only thing you need to travel the whole world is a simple G-Class (non AMG, workhorse version). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrxqtwRZ654

Funny fact, the US cops burn giant amounts of fuel in their parked V8 to just keep the AC running.

I always make my own Fanta, I mix orange juice (100%) with 1/4 to 1/6 water. Sometimes carbonated and sometimes non-carbonated, depending on my mood. Instead of orange juice, I also use apple or cherry juice (sour cherry). The advantage is that it is low in calories, tastes natural and is healthy. The water simply comes out of the tap, but I have bought a 3.5L tank for water with a tap, which is in the fridge, so the drinks are always cool. I have a Sodastream for carbonated water. Apart from the undiluted fruit juice, I don't need to lug any drinks bottles home with me. Price: A 1l bottle of fruit juice costs around €2-3, which makes around 7 liters. So a liter costs less than aprox. 50 cents. I have found that all slightly sour fruit juices are best for this. On hot summer days I also like to mix a semi-dry white or rose wine 50/50 with carbonated water + ice in the evening.
