  1. The European trucks have more power to keep the truck in the most fuel efficent low RPM range. Pulling through the gears with high RPM eats a lot of hey aka burns a lot of diesel. Todays price of diesel is ca. €1.68 per liter this are €6,36 per US Gal. or $6.86 by todays exchange rate.
