  3. Yep. It was sold (privatized) by Mike Harris (Con) and it's a 99 year lease. Don't worry, on a bright day in 2098 the 407 might be Public again.

  5. The Cons sold the 407 for 3.1 billion in 1999. At the rate the corporation is making profits Ontario will have to buy it back for 5.5 billion dollars.
