  17. i am extremely fortunate that I was able to attend a specialized High School in NYC (you have to take a test to get in) where the teachers actually gave a shit about what they taught, and would also make effort to treat us like adults when it came to the real world, not just "oh you gotta score this and this on some random test" unfortunately, the city wants to get rid of the admissions exam for specialized high schools for "diversity", but at the same time does not want to meaningfully do anything about the "lesser" high schools currently in college doing engineering rn, and the classes I have enjoyed the most are the ones where the teachers think out of the box and try to engage the students best as possible however difficult the subject may be. the ones I hate are when the teacher blazes though a powerpoint and you are expected to memorize everything for a test, go figure. not to mention the BS general ed classes that usually amount to some sort of propaganda and have no real use other than to fill up one's schedule when actually useful classes arent an option

  25. the waterproofing on the s5 only worked if you sealed it back up correctly which most people were incapable of so samsung got rid of it for s6 they actually continued to work on the concept in the x-cover pro series but they were so niche and had shitty specs for the cost

  47. its wholly possible to have a water resistant smartphone with a removable battery, its called the galaxy xcover pro but yall not prepared to discuss how bulky it is or how its not the best "specs" for the price also even the xcover pro has a finicky method to remove the battery (so water doesn't get in) when they tried the liquid resistance with the S5, the phone would have to be sealed in a certain way to guarantee it which most people were not capable of doing; not to mention it barely worked and the resistance wore out anyways and yeah the current iPhones are way easer to battery swap than the samsungs for example because samsung's insistence of heavy adhesive

I love my $13 KZ ATEs for the very reason you mentioned: interchangability, I can switch between my phone, and my laptop seamlessely and listen to either indefinitely, only hindered by the phone/laptop battery life and it takes me less than half a second to switch only use BT has for me is when i go to the gym and the cables get in the way
