But one exists in the thousands, and the other exists as 100 test vehicles. Its one real system that have been used many times in combat, and one that is far from ready. It's not even in production.

@erichubbard2518 2300 units by 2025 is of course a pipe dream. And still literally nothing. Russia needs ten times as many of it to make an actual difference in their capabilities. "Technology has been tested" Yeah, just like every weapon system works great in testing, but not so much in practice. Stop believing what you are told on paper. Look at actual results. And those are lacking severely. For an even clearer example of this, look at the Checkmate fighter.

@erichubbard2518 What? The M1 has the Trophy system now, a system actually tested during combat. And Russia has what? Some text on paper as the T14 Armata exists as 100 test vehicles only?

@erichubbard2518 Sure, I agree, if you forget the fact that it doesn't exist, as it isn't in production and thus just a capability on paper. And that the Armata needs "just" founding to start production seem to forget what happens when new weapon systems are produced. Problems arise and compromises are made. Armata have put Russia in the same situation as the Nazi's. A state of the art tank that makes no actual difference since it's too resource heavy to produce. This is not what Russia needs, which is why it will buy almost none.

@yourtypical1722 In principle yes. But Chinese copies are superficial copies. They can't actually reproduce all the high end tech stolen from others. Russian engines are too hard. American stealth coating as well. And if you haven't noticed, China doesn't even have side armor on their tanks. They are useless in modern warfare. But good for driving over students, like in Tiananmen square.
