@oleopathic Bo Janzon, a scientist semi famous here for his work with ballistics and armor, and former head of the Swedish forces research arm. Our DARPA so to speak.
99,5% sure that is was a truck carrying 10-30 tons of civilian explosives. With a higher probability for the lower side of that estimate.
And yes he can see that it's civilian explosives just based on the explosion itself.
I think the term he used was oxygen balanced, but that is a direct translation into English, so might be a bit wonky.

That you as a civil engineer look at this and thought controlled demolition is totally beyond me, as an engineer myself.
And I thought every engineer knows that you connect the piers of a bridge to the span with expansion joints and bearings, so it can move. Not bolts and plates. That would make the bridge last like an hour.
Come on man, attack this problem with the rationality of an engineer. Focus on what we know, what we can see, and leave the why for later.
If you want my 2cents, it was either the FSB or the National Republican Army.
