But it will pollute like nothing Portugal has ever seen, and make the food unsafe for human consumption, or any consumption for that matter. I rather let the Chinese build ten nuclear power plants in the area than opening a lithium mine. It's literal death to all life.

Lithium mines are like uranium mines, some of the dirtiest things we have the pleasure of doing. Not something you place in an agricultural area, you know, where they grow food on an industrial level... Jobs? You really think food just magically appears in your supermarket
