As someone that builds these kind of buildings in the richest parts of the west, this is a horror show like no other. Its a literal miracle we don't see collapses every day.

@stischer47 Since when is it criminal to build high rises and apartment blocks? I think you need to reread that post and reflect a little.

@matthewmosier8439 Heck, I follow China way more than the regular western citizen and I haven't even heard about it. But I did hear about that Chinese sub that got caught in their own trap and all 55 sailors died.

@DarcyCardinal I'm building in a country far inside the Eurasian plate, so no added regulations for earthquakes, like the Japanese have for example.

@tu1469 That is what massive amounts of regulations, and the adherence to them gives you. Totally impossible in China for decades into the future, even if the CCP disappeared tomorrow.
