  14.  @Spearca  What the Turkish population thinks means little now, but when I look at Twitter, there is a lot of push back on at least Sweden joining. Helping the fight against ISIS is not inline with Turkey's geopolitical goals, since it helps the Kurds.

But the tides are turning, and the only ones vocal against a Finnish membership are now Kremlin huggers as we call them in Sweden. Reflect on that and move to the right side of history.

  24.  @emm_arr  Of course, but that worked on the Brexit side. I was more referring to the people that know better, or even just want it, but don't vote. That is western decadence, and to me, it is killing us worse than the disinformation. The Soviet did this to the whole of Europe for decades, and to almost no effect. What is different now is our own populations, more interested in their own personal pursuits. And thus, a minority of misinformed idiots take power.

  25.  @benjones6363  It goes in the same vain as loosening restrictions on arms sale to dictatorships, proposing immigration laws in contradiction with the international maritime law, not upholding the deal with the EU that they signed etc etc. Who cares about the Paris accord then? Brexit seem to mean "f*ck it all" to the right wing in Britain. And of course it has much to do with how stupid the people in charge are in Britain. They are copy pasting trade deals which they don't even read properly. So a decision against common sense, prior obligations etc, like this one is, fits like a glove.
