As a military interested Swede: Wait whaaaat? The nukes I'm familiar with, but a nuclear sub?! Amazing!
12
I voted on the poll, went to bed, and woke up with a new video to watch?! The turn around time is amazing, it's almost like you were a Swedish Gripen in human form
10
@RangiferADV He can't, Russia have no Bayraktars!
10
@MrFlatage Are you accusing others of trolling when you actually write sentences like: "Any Soviet submarine could just slip past the US carrier escort fleet undetected."
8
@jeffreyhill1011 Nothing has been fired, but sure, they are constantly flying into our air space, and we have to send up Gripens to chase them away. Most notably are nuclear bomber training missions against our capital with the massive Tupolev's. If that is not aggressive I don't know what is. And don't be overconfident. We have great capabilities but our numbers are very low. Russia has lost a thousand vehicles in Ukraine, while Sweden doesn't even have a thousand to begin with. We had the fourth largest air force in the world during the cold war. Now we almost can't get 12 Gripens flying at the same time. Things are changing slooowly. But we still haven't had our "come to Jesus" moment like Germany now has.
4
2-4 men don't need that much to carry on, and it's more about taking away Russia's ability to surveil the area than anything else
4
@hernanreipp5259 Surveillance? And for gods sake, you literally are commenting on a video which explains how Russia used the platforms for their benefit. And no, on one even though for a second they were used for refueling anything..
4
"When Russia captures Odessa" Hahaha, yeah keep dreaming. Like a Russian said, the Russian successes are so granular compared to the stated goals that one can make porridge out of them.
4
Better than the Russian winter offensive at least, so there is that
4
They are immensely more accurate since the rockets are GPS/INS guided. Both the US and UK are sending the M31 rockets, since the only unguided ones are cluster munitions, which isn't optimal against Russian armor. And the Ceasar can outrange the Pion with the right shells. And a shot that hits does more damage to the enemy than a larger one that misses slightly.
4
First of, this is amazing! And such a gift to us viewers! But I'm a little sad that the amphibious troop ships going from the Baltic/Northern fleets to the Black Sea aren't on the tracker. According to the invasions plans leaked/released into German media the first invasion is going towards Odessa and thus cut of Ukraine from the sea. And for this objective, these troop ships are needed.
4
And Kiev was a feint, and Russia has 12000 tanks in storage, right?..
3
@Alex-cw3rz I will put it like this. If their Kalibr priced at 6,5 million dollars can't hit a massive building but explodes next to it, I give very little for the immensely cheaper rockets for their artillery. There is little equivalence between inertial guidance from the Soviet times and modern GPS guidance. And Pion has accuracy problems at max range, that is pretty well known. It does much better at regular 155mm ranges, but that negates many of the advantages with it. But the Russians don't care about accuracy, half of their sorties are just dumping unguided rockets in ballistic trajectories. Quantity has a quality of its own so to speak.

@operator9858 Yes it is. Ancient Greece called it Achilles. The Romans, the white island The Ottomans, snake island The Greeks, snake island The Ukrainians, snake island
3
@cartrips9263 RIA Novosti accidentally published a victory article on 8AM February 26th. So you are lying. It was the Russian plan. And that was clear from Lukashenko's map he showed too. And the leaked ones to the German media, etc etc.
2
@operator9858 I'm getting at that this is blatant pro-Russian stupidity like usual. Kiev was the not a feint. Regime change was the goal. You don't sacrifice your VDV for a feint. https://youtu.be/6x0O_oObJBU?t=1755
2
For anyone interested in more of that I would recommend the video "When Hotels Go To War" !
2
@賴志偉-d7h Oh stop. This isn't a "the French surrenders easily" thread. This is the meme's you think of when you actually know French naval history.
2
@johanneswestman935 Was? Compare the countries right now, and France is still the naval power compared to Germany. Heck, it's even the land power too, with German armed forces at such a sorry state.
2
@wellwell7950 What on earth are you talking about. Post an actual argument. Now you are just looking like a pro-Kremlin nutcase rejecting reality. In short, you looked up nothing.
2
@Neuttah Yeah, their final drop was just that, final
2
@jeffreyhill1011 Fat Amy's? You mean the F-35s? No, we are fielding our own, the Gripen E. A better choice for us. But I think the UK would do the same as with Ukraine, massive help, everything up to the line of firing in anger so to speak. Now that we are in the process of becoming a NATO member along with Finland, that will of course change. We are stronger together, that's for sure

I noticed this video 2 days late... It's 3:18 AM, but I aint going to bed now
1
@jhdsfalsjhdfjashdkhvjfldld8301 Says the person with the unreadable alias. Make an argument. But hey, I have written no more than Igor Girkin has, so stop calling your own side crazy now.
1
@octowuss1888 Oh stop reusing the 3 days to Kiev meme.
1
@capturedflame Oh you are not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
1
@johanneswestman935 That is only because of your subjective choices. You could argue that the real enemy of France is the Germans. So in that situation, France is the naval power, and Germany the land power. Ie, that dichotomy is a little flawed.
1
@johanneswestman935 For what? Germany poisoning their armed forces on every level with bureaucracy so it can't function?
1
@johanneswestman935 Hahah you are totally delusional.
1
@rightiswrongrightiswrong806 "There is no blockade of Ukrainian ports" Pure BS. This video even has a segment on the Russian blockade. That you Russian trolls even have the energy to write stupid sh*t like this.
1
@Alex-cw3rz 1) Come on, Tomahawks flew through windows decades ago. It isn't really an option for Kalibr. If you want to look up the strike I mention you can search for Kharkiv's Freedom Square. 2) Please post any source that Russia is using GPS guided artillery in Ukraine. I will definitely not hold my breath. This is akin to saying Russia has 5th gen fighters, T-14's or hypersonic weapons. 3) Sure, but how long is a string? The lack of accuracy at max range in the Pion has been a factor to consider in planning. That isn't the same with 155mm NATO. And definitely isn't with the Excalibur shells, which outrange everything Pion can fire, and hits a car at that max range. Very expensive though. Very. 4) No, western countries do definitely Not fire volleys of unguided rockets in ballistic trajectories from their planes and helicopters. That is just mental to say.
1
@Alex-cw3rz 1) Yes the strike on Freedom square was a Kalibr. Russia even claimed it themselves. Tomahawks can fly through a window, Kalibr can't even hit a massive building but strikes the parking lot outside. There is no equivalence in accuracy. 2) Hah, touting laser guidance as better. Are you joking? To hit something with a laser guided bomb, you need to illuminate the target with a laser. Picking out a position on a map, and hitting it with GPS, is much much more effective. 3) Canada has sent Excalibur. The US has promised them. So it has been used, and will be used in the future. The point with the Pion is that it stands out in losing accuracy at max range. Just like the F35 stands out in its incapability to sustain its top speed. Get it? And do look at the latest Excalibur versions, which can hit a moving car at range. 4) Clearly you can't read. Western countries do have unguided rockets on both helicopters and aircraft. But in no way would they fire volleys in ballistic trajectories. That is mentally deranged to even contemplate of doing. And Russia is doing it, again and again.

@Matt-re8bt "there is no way Australia will be buying anything unproven or requiring significant development." Come on man! That is literally the opposite of what Australia been trying to do. They always want some Frankenstein BS, and with constantly changing specifications and modifications requirements. The option they chose was literally a french nuclear submarine redesigned as a diesel, fitted with US weapon systems throughout.
1
Someone was dumb enough to comment before watching the video, and now people laugh at you. Sad
1
@HISuttonCovertShores But I think his point was the ability to do it. Just like installing early warning radars looking deeper into NATO than they can now. In peacetime, with civilians willing to go near the island, they could land an S300/S400 on it. Now they don't have the heroes to do it so to speak.
1
@Tom--Ace Who even says Anglo Saxon? Only Russian propaganda Stop being either dumb or the scum of the earth.
1
@normal_norm2627 And now you instead have deluded yourself with stupidity. What a great progression..
