Lots of regulations on cars, very few regulations on guns, which would explain why there are more murders committed with guns than with cars

@jackaljade well since it's guns that make schools need better security, why not have a special tax guns and ammo and have all proceeds go to schools? Strengthening red flag laws would have stopped this shooting and many others. Banning anyone convicted of a violent crime from owning a gun would stop most mass shootings. Teaching respect and responsibility to anyone before owning a gun would make the country. Going after guns is futile but going without gun regulations is asinine

@jackaljade to make all schools safer would cost billions if not trillions to put up gates, minimize all entrances, get enough security guards and cameras. That would take a complete redesign of thousands of schools, which would take decades. Or you could demand republicunts pass sensible gun regulations that would be far cheaper, be emplimented in months and would actually save lives. Gun regulations are school safety.

@jackaljade in the gun reform bill passed last year by all Democrat and the bare minimum of republican there was $300 million for school safety and mental health. That is the only school safety bill put up in years. Republican will never do anything to make the children safe because your kind keep voting them in, even though they do nothing for you. There is partisanship because one side are do nothing cowards and the other wants to save lives. The middle ground between nothing from the right and enough from the left is not enough and makes little difference.

If there were gun regulations to stop people with mental health issues this shooting would not have happened but radical trump supporting terrorists won't allow any gun regulations because they love there guns more than they love there children
